Inso signed a contract for the expansion of the Aimé Césaire international airport of Martinique in the French Antilles, for an amount of 43 million Euro.
The contract was acquired by the joint venture formed with the parent company Condotte, with Idex, one of the leading French operators in the field of energy management, and with a group of noted French design studios, including AIA Life Designers.
The contract calls for the design and construction of the airport extension, its functional reorganization and the upgrade of the existing terminal. Two new buildings will also be built, located at the east and west end of the airport and destined to regional boarding and luggage management, for a total area of the project of over 20,000 sq. m.
The project will be entirely funded by SAMAC (Société Aéroport Martinique Aimé Césaire). The estimated time for completion of the work is about four years. All stages of design, construction and management will be developed with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
